Subham Poles is proud to be associated with the world's Tallest Statue Of Unity, which has been inagurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birthday on October 31st.
The Statue of Unity is an iconic 182 meters tall tribute to one of India’s foremost Statesmen and leaders – Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The monument is under construction and located between the Vindhyachal and Satpuda ranges, rising on Sadhu-Bet Island in the Narmada River, approximately 3.5 kms downstream from the famous Sardar Sarovar Dam in Gujarat.
We’re pleased to share one of our recent accomplishments — the installation of Octagonal Poles at the renowned Jagannath Mandir in Digha, West Bengal. The poles were specifically designed keeping in mind the temple’s cultural presence and surrounding environment. It wasn’t just about strength and structure, but also about blending functionality with a sense of place. Every pole was placed with precision, ensuring safety and durability for the long run.
This project holds a special value to our team. Working around such a spiritual and historic site required not just engineering know-how but also a deep sense of respect for the temple’s heritage. From planning to final setup, we tried to keep disruptions to an absolute minimum. The result is a subtle but strong enhancement to the temple’s exterior space — and we’re proud to have been a part of it.
In addition to the pole installation, we also had the privilege of installing a high-performance Highmast Lighting System at the same site. The idea was to bring in better illumination while preserving the aesthetic and spiritual vibe of the temple. This Highmast setup now lights up the temple grounds beautifully, especially during evenings when visitors continue to arrive even after dark. It’s more than lighting — it adds warmth and safety to the entire atmosphere.
Executing this part of the project was both technically challenging and rewarding. Given the temple’s layout and foot traffic, the setup had to be efficient without being intrusive. We had to get creative with the positioning and angles so the light reaches where it’s needed without overpowering the serene vibe. Seeing the space glow now, we feel the effort was truly worth it.
We’re pleased to share one of our recent accomplishments — the installation of pathway lighting poles at the Rabindra Sarobar Lake in Kolkata, West Bengal. The poles were carefully selected and installed to enhance both the functionality and ambiance of this cherished public space. It wasn’t just about lighting a path, but about creating a safer and more inviting environment for the thousands who visit the lake every day.
This project holds a special place for us. Working in a natural and urban setting like Rabindra Sarobar meant prioritizing aesthetics, safety, and environmental sensitivity. From early planning to final installation, every detail was handled with precision and care. The end result is a well-lit, welcoming pathway that supports the community’s need for secure and pleasant open spaces — and we’re proud to have contributed to it.
