The Pole
A steel tubular pole holds the line at the right height above the ground and carries its weight and wind load.
Cross Arms and Clamps
Cross arms, fixed with clamps near the top, hold the insulators and keep the conductors apart.
Stays and Structures
Stay sets anchor poles at angles and ends; DP structures carry transformers where the voltage is stepped down.
Earthing
GI flats and earth electrodes carry fault current safely into the ground, protecting people and equipment.

What are HT and LT line materials?

Are the line materials galvanized?
Steel line materials are supplied hot-dip galvanized or painted, as the specification requires. Galvanizing is usually specified for long life outdoors.
Do you make line materials to the specifications of electricity distribution companies?
Yes. We manufacture to the drawings and specifications in the tender or purchase order, including IS 2713 for steel tubular poles.
